Caden watch all of this in silence (only moving to help her when the chair leg broke, but sat back down since she managed to get up so fast), then bent down to help Shelby clean up and said;
"You could borrow my book." He smiled at her. "At least it wasn't your fault. With the book,
I mean. I don't see why the teacher wouldn't believe you."
